Dan Mu, graduated from Xi’an International Studies University in 1986, and got her Master of English Language and Literature from the same university in 2002; attended IELTS course design at Leeds University, UK, in 2003; a visiting professor to Westminster University and Stephen College ,USA, teaching Chinese culture in 1998. She had been an associate professor of English in the areas of Interpreting and Cross-Culture Communication, Xi’an International Studies University till 2006. She worked as the communication manager and business analyst for EC Wise, an American Database company, for three years. Now she is back to teaching in Xi’an International Studies University. To apply the knowledge and experience gained in IT industry to education, she has published 8 journal papers and one book in the areas of Interpreting , Cross-Culture Communication, and E-learning.
