Optimal and Appropriate Job Allocation Algorithm for Skilled Agents under a Server Constraint

By Mijanur Rahaman Md Masudul Islam

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijeme.2023.01.02, Pub. Date: 8 Feb. 2023

In a combinatorial auction, there has a server, some agents, and some jobs which can be used to reach efficient resource and job allocations among the agents. In our paper, we have shown how any server can achieve maximum throughput as well as maximum profit based on some server constraints where each agent has one or more skills to perform those jobs on a priority basis which can be executed in a whole or partial. This algorithm can effectively distribute the appropriate job allocation among skilled agents with proper acknowledgment to the server after a certain period.

A Review on Multiple Survey Report of Cloud Adoption and its Major Barriers in the Perspective of Bangladesh

By Masudul Islam Mijanur Rahaman

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijcnis.2016.05.06, Pub. Date: 8 May 2016

Cloud computing is called globalization for computer and internet. Either directly or indirectly we are using cloud technology almost every day. Today cloud computing is getting popular in every developed country, but it's not over all officially adopted in most of the 3rd world developing country like Bangladesh. This paper will show some categorize survey of continuous progress, advantages, disadvantages, dependencies, maturity of cloud computing from 2012 to till now. Also we will show recent ranking of cloud adoption in different country. Also our main target will review major barriers to adopt cloud. Finally we will propose some initial steps to adopt cloud technology in our country by studying previous trade-off factors of survey report.

An Overview on Quantum Computing as a Service (QCaaS): Probability or Possibility

By Mijanur Rahaman Md Masudul Islam

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijmsc.2016.01.02, Pub. Date: 8 Jan. 2016

Cloud computing is a worldwide classical system. Quantum computing is theoretical concept still in experimental review. Where cloud system is facing vulnerability in security, backup, processing and locality, there quantum computing shows a strong solution to overcome it. Most researchers are optimistic in quantum computing that it will improve cloud system. But to associate physics based subatomic computing system with software based cloud system is not an easy option. Our paper will show all the major advantages and disadvantages of quantum computing in the perspective to integrate it with cloud system. And review some recent progress with some foremost doubtful future aspects of quantum cloud computing. Also we will review the reality of quantum computation and internet system in applied viewpoint until present.
