Use of the Ontological Model for Personification of the Semantic Search

By J Rogushina

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijmsc.2016.01.01, Pub. Date: 8 Jan. 2016

Semantic search is an important component of modern intelligent applications oriented on work in open information environment. The intelligence level of application depends of it's capabilities in knowledge processing and defines it's facilities. Now applications widely use ontologies for knowledge representation. Therefore criteria of intelligence level estimation (that can analyze ontologies) of applications and retrieval systems as their particular case are proposed.
In this paper, an ontological model of the intelligent interaction of the main objects and subjects of the semantic search (the Web information resources, information objects and information consumers etc.) is developed. Software realization of semantic search on base of this ontological model and integration of this search instrument with applied systems are describes.

An Overview on Quantum Computing as a Service (QCaaS): Probability or Possibility

By Mijanur Rahaman Md Masudul Islam

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijmsc.2016.01.02, Pub. Date: 8 Jan. 2016

Cloud computing is a worldwide classical system. Quantum computing is theoretical concept still in experimental review. Where cloud system is facing vulnerability in security, backup, processing and locality, there quantum computing shows a strong solution to overcome it. Most researchers are optimistic in quantum computing that it will improve cloud system. But to associate physics based subatomic computing system with software based cloud system is not an easy option. Our paper will show all the major advantages and disadvantages of quantum computing in the perspective to integrate it with cloud system. And review some recent progress with some foremost doubtful future aspects of quantum cloud computing. Also we will review the reality of quantum computation and internet system in applied viewpoint until present.

Quantum Mechanics Analysis: Modeling and Simulation of some simple systems

By Younis A Shah Irshad A Mir Uzair Mohammad Rather

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijmsc.2016.01.03, Pub. Date: 8 Jan. 2016

Quantum Mechanics is a radically new way of thinking about the Nature. It is used for explaining the behavior of an electron to the possible existence of parallel universes. Most of the times, it is just too difficult to get an intuitive grasp of Quantum Mechanics. Quantum Mechanics is a mathematical framework for describing atomic and subatomic systems. In this paper the basic principles of Quantum Mechanics have been presented. It has been shown that classical probabilities when added increase the overall probability while in quantum probabilities can cancel each other and hence lower the overall probability. A simple approach has been taken by modeling the systems as graphs. The states and dynamics of the systems have been modeled as matrices. The principle of Superposition and the phenomenon of Interference have been explained in a single simulation. Finally the BLAS functions of Julia programming language have been used for simulating the systems under study on a classical computer and a detailed discussion is presented to highlight the incapability of the classical explanation of quantum phenomenon.
