Many teachers experience difficulties in starting an instruction and in how to make the students learn appropriately. Meanwhile, the teacher has to make the students learn in order the teaching conforms to the four pillars of education according to UNESCO, i.e.: learning to know, learning to do, learning to be, and learning to live together in peace and harmony. In relation to this, a study was conducted to the students of primary schools in Singaraja to see the effectiveness of BLCS model (Bruner, Local Culture, and Scaffolding) in the teaching of mathematics through a measurement using Expert System - based CSE-UCLA. The effectiveness of the teaching model was seen from learning activities, learning achievement, and the students' response to the teaching. Data were collected through observation, test and questionnaire and were then analyzed descriptively. The results show that BLCS model is an effective model to be used in the teaching of mathematics.

The major phases of version management is analysis of changes made, the newer version that holds all the changes is then made available. The existing techniques involve version control by means of file locking and merging of version to control and monitor the use of files and manage the changes made in them, both these approaches have certain shortcomings including loss of changes made and unnecessary delays. Hence, a new technique has been devised, the algorithm of which has been proposed in this paper. This latest model of version control comprises of a mechanism of updates based on time. There is an integration of timer and other controls which make sure that the implementation can be made by more than one user at a time and that none of the modifications are lost. This algorithm of version control has been proposed to refine the process further and open new windows for future research in this area.

In white box testing, test cases are usually designed based using path testing. The basis path testing approach involves generation of test cases from a set of independent paths. Each test case is forced to execute a certain test path of the control flow graph. Some cases might arise paths of the control flow graph have no test data to force execution. These paths are infeasible paths. Identification and removal of infeasible paths earlier will reduce testing efforts and cost. In the present work, we used Unified Modeling Language (UML) for detecting of these infeasible paths. For detection of these infeasible paths, the author builds the control flow graph from sequence diagram and then generated independent paths from it. Each path is converted into a set of a linear equation and solved. If there is an inconsistent solution, then the corresponding path is infeasible. The presented approach is evaluated on a case study of an automatic gold vending machine.

The Most important concern for business sectors and organizations is to authenticate individuals who interact with them and their services. By considering more than one biometric technology, the authentication process is expected to be more reliable and secure. The Ear and Voice Multimodal Biometrics System is evaluated to compare its performance with ear and voice unimodal systems; the multimodal system takes advantages of the permanence characteristic of ear biometric and voice biometric which is highly acceptable by users. According to the experiment, the ear and voice multimodal system provides better performance than the ear or voice unimodal system. In addition to that, the multimodal system makes a right balance between false rejection and false acceptance rates. This evaluation is intended to contribute to multimodal biometrics research by using behavioral biometric (voice print) and physiological biometric (ear-print) and makes advantage of using both of them in one system.

The problem of unavailability of public UDDI is motivation to develop an interactive system to search for Web services dynamically using search engines. This paper presents an interactive system for selecting composable Web services automatically and dynamically according to the user requirement through search results of Bingo search engine. The methodology used here is searching for requested functions according to the user requested functional word in the Bingo search engine, finding the search precision by the support of the requested function in the search results, displaying operation elements and allowing the user to select required operation. If the user is unable to enter the input value of the Web services then searching for the Web services that resolves the unknown input. The search process is continued in many levels till the user gets satisfied and the suitable Web services resulted in this process results in the dynamic composition. A composition rule is framed to show the operations of the Web services that are composed according to the user requests during the run time. This is an interactive system, where the user can select required operation from the list of operations. The required parameters to invoke the Web services are filled during runtime automatically resulted into a dynamic invocation of the Web services. Nowadays, QoS information such as availability and response time are not provided by the UDDI due to the absence of UDDI. Therefore, this system tests such information by invoking Web services and qualitative Web services are used to generate composition plan.

Software automated testing tools are being used by many companies for the sake of judging the performance, efficiency, and effectiveness of the software. There are assortments of apparatuses, which are accessible in the market. One of the best known instruments is selenium suite which is a blend of various automated testing apparatus. The paper presents a comparison made between selenium and other tools to find the best tool and on the basis of the results; a case study is presented to explore the performance of the selenium.
