Dr. Dmitry Zelentsov
Born on January 16, 1962.
In 1984 graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Dnepropetrovsk State University.
Since 2001 I have been working at the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology as the Head of the Department of Advanced Mathematics, since 2009 – as the Head of the Department of Information Systems.
Doctor of Technical Sciences since 2007. The theme of the doctoral dissertation is "Models and methods for solving the problems of structural mechanics of constructions with varying geometric characteristics".
Under my scientific guidance 7 PhD and 1 Doctor of Science dissertations were prepared and defended.
Scientific interests: mathematical modeling and computational methods in mechanics; modeling of the processes of deformation of structures with changing geometric characteristics; optimization methods, including methods of optimal design of structures; computational methods for solving systems of differential equations with controlled accuracy; methods of computational intelligence.
