Fahed Awad received his B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer engineering from the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Irbid, Jordan in 1990 and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM) in 1994, and 2002, respectively. From 1992 to 1996, he worked as a teaching and research associate at UWM. From 1996 to 2001, he worked as a Senior Network Design Engineer in the cellular service provider industry. From 2001 to 2004, he worked as a Senior Research Engineer in the Advanced Technology Laboratory at Rockwell Automation HQ, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. From 2004 to 2009, he worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Engineering at JUST. He is currently an assistant professor and a chairman at the Department of Network Engineering and Security at JUST. His research interests are in the area of wireless networking and robotics.
