Determination Method of Some Operational Characteristics of Information Search System in Directive Document Database

By Fahrad H. Pashayev Sevinj E. Pashayeva Jahangir M. Jafarov Pashayev I. Farhad

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijmsc.2020.03.01, Pub. Date: 8 Jun. 2020

The article provides a method for determining some of the operational characteristics of the information search engine in the Directive document database. During this time the life cycle of the system was studied, the schedule of time dependence of the system interruptions intensity was studied. The article states that although there are many interruptions and malfunctions at the start of operation, they are rapidly decreasing over time, and the interruption during the system's normal operation period is random. During the last wear and breakdown of system operation, the intensity of interruptions begins to increase. It also lists one of the possible structures of information search engine relationships. In practice, the basic structure of medium-sized information search engine relations in directive document databases can be represented in the article. Although the Database is located on a local network, the system may have different sources of information and can be located both on the local network and on the global Internet. Monitoring of information search engine operations is organized on the system server. According to the monitoring results, some operational characteristics of the system are calculated and refined over time.

During the monitoring process, various operating characteristics are calculated, starting with the commissioning of the system. This includes the total number of queries, the number of successful and failed surveys, the time intervals between different types of surveys and survey results. such as settings. These parameters calculate the experimental operation characteristics of the information search engine in the directive document database. The calculated characteristics become clearer with time and approach their theoretical estimates. Therefore, it will take some time before the practical results are obtained. However, the results obtained in the article can be used successfully from the start of system operation.

Numerical Solution of Partial Differential Equations with Fractional Variable Coefficients Using New Iterative Method (NIM)

By Falade K.I Tiamiyu A.T

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijmsc.2020.03.02, Pub. Date: 8 Jun. 2020

In this paper, we studied to obtain numerical solutions of partial differential equations with fractional variable coefficient by MAPLE 18 software algorithm on New Iterative Method. We examined and investigated behaviours of the fractional variable coefficients (Even and Odd) on first order partial differential equation; we obtain numerical solution and plot 2D/3D graphs representation of eight (8) cases for the study of the sequential trend of the fractional coefficients. The simplicity and the accuracy of the proposed numerical scheme are verified. More numerical examples will be used in the future for further testing the ability of the proposed scheme for solving some classical problems in engineering sciences.

Modelling the Impacts of Climate Change on Water Level Fluctuations in Water Resources in Tanzania: A Case Study of Mtera Dam

By Filimon Abel Mgandu Mashaka Mkandawile Mohamed Rashid

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijmsc.2020.03.03, Pub. Date: 8 Jun. 2020

This study presents the modelling of impacts of climate change on water resources. Mtera dam in Tanzania was taken as a case study. Data for climate variables on four stations were obtained from Tanzania Meteorological Agency (TMA) while data for water level were obtained from Rufiji Basin Development Authority (RUBADA). The study aimed at doing regression analysis on all stations to analyze the impacts of change in climate variables on water level. Results show that rainfall was significant predictor of water level at Iringa and Dodoma while temperature and sunshine were significant at Mbeya station. Change in climate variables accounted for 37% of the fluctuations of water level in the dam. It was recommended that TANESCO should construct small dams on upper side of Mtera dam to harvest rain water during rainy season. In long run TANESCO should invest into alternative sources of energy.

A Comparative Study Between Epoxy S-Glass UD And Epoxy Carbon UD For Their Use As Manufacturing Materials For Wind Turbine Blades

By Hasan Nazha Zain Aldeen Nazha

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijmsc.2020.03.04, Pub. Date: 8 Jun. 2020

The majority of failure cases may occur because of the wrong selection of inappropriate material in the manufacture of wind turbine blades. Composites are used to increase reliability and reduce wind turbine manufacturing costs. Therefore, this research focuses on comparing the use of Epoxy S-Glass UD and Epoxy Carbon UD as manufacturing materials for wind turbine blades using 3D finite element analysis; to find out which of these materials have the best performance for its use as a manufacturing material for wind turbine blades. The distribution of Von Mises stresses in wind turbine blade models was investigated using Epoxy S-Glass UD and Epoxy Carbon UD under the wind loads that affect the blade of the turbine. The results showed that the value of the maximum stresses in the epoxy glass model was 3.495 × 107 Pa, while this value was in the epoxy carbon model 4.0494 × 107 Pa. As for the value of the minimum stresses, it was in the epoxy glass model 7431.8 Pa, while the value in another material model 17323 Pa. Therefore, it is not recommended to use Epoxy Carbon UD as a manufacturing material for wind turbine blades, but it is recommended to use Epoxy S-Glass UD, which reduces induced stresses and thus to prolong its lifespan.

A SEIRS Model of Tuberculosis Infection Model with Vital Dynamics, Early Treatment for Latent Patients and Treatment of Infective

By Sulayman Fatima Amit Mishra

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijmsc.2020.03.05, Pub. Date: 8 Jun. 2020

Tuberculosis is one of the most destructive bacteria in human being and the second cause of mortality after HIV/AIDS in the whole world. In this research work, a SEIRS of mathematical model for the transmission of tuberculosis incorporating vital dynamics, early therapy of patient with tuberculosis were studied and a model for treatment of infective as controls was developed. The effective reproduction number and the disease-free equilibrium was also analysed for the stability. The results revealed that the two controls reduce effective number below unity. Furthermore, it shows that early therapy of patient with tuberculosis is more effective in mitigating the spread of tuberculosis burden.
